Does your child suffer with anxiety and self-confidence issues?
Do they miss out at school because they are too scared to speak up in class or put themselves forward for activities?
How often does your child seem disengaged and withdrawn?
How Does NLP4Kids Help Children and Young People?
NLP4Kids offers a combination of safe and effective therapies with children and teenagers that help them learn how to control their thoughts, emotions and behaviour. NLP4Kids practitioners are specialists in working with children using a form of therapy called NLP. This stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. “Neuro” relates to the brain and “linguistic” refers to language and how it is used inside the mind and out of the mouth! “Programming” describes the patterns and habits created, learnt and followed.
Using NLP techniques and strategies, (which we have adapted to be fun, safe and easy for children and teenagers to use) young people are given the skills to think in new ways so that they feel in control and learn to understand the world from the perspective of others as well as their own.
NLP is a cognitive form of therapy, with some parallels to CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy.) Our work is effective in helping children overcome bad habits, behaviour problems, fears and self esteem problems as well as many other challenges.
- Passing their driving test

- Discovering how they learn best and devising revision plans to fit in with this

The first step in helping your child is to contact your local NLP4Kids practitioner, Corrine Thomas. You can call Corrine on 0118 3282 743 or email her if you would like the practitioner to contact you. Alternatively, you can contact our Reception Team at The Wellbeing Centre on 01635 552874. We’re available to take enquiries by telephone or drop-in weekdays 9:30am – 5:30pm (excluding Bank Holidays). Therapy appointments may be available outside these times, depending on the availability of the individual practitioner.
Once you’ve contacted Corrine, she will conduct a consultation with you, either over the phone or in person. Once she has understood the challenges your child is facing, she will invite you and your child to meet with her at The Wellbeing Centre. If you decide to go ahead with some therapy or coaching sessions for your child, Corrine will advise you of the best course of action. Corrine will give you feedback and advise to help you support your child and you will remain in full control of the number of sessions you book and how often.
