Rosemary Piercy

Rosemary Piercy is a Chiropractor and runs a full day Chiropractic Clinic twice weekly at The Wellbeing Centre.

She graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 2005 with a BSc (Hons) in Neuromusculoskeletal Sciences and an MChiro (Masters in Chiropractic). She is registered with the British Chiropractic Association and the General Chiropractic Council.

“One of the things that I love about my job is the variety. Not only in the conditions that I treat – which can range from back pain to headaches or tennis elbow to a disc problem – but also in the variety of people I treat. From children to pensioners and everyone in between! In a typical day I can be treating an expectant mother, an amateur sportsman and then a builder with back pain.

Of course the other great thing about being a chiropractor is helping people get better. Whether through a short course of treatment to help someone with back pain to be able to sit on their flight so they can go on holiday or a longer course of treatment for someone who has been suffering for years. Seeing people out of pain and doing the things that they love, is very rewarding for me.

Every year I complete continued professional development (CPD) to maintain my registration with the General Chiropractic Council, which keeps my skills and knowledge up-to-date. Recent seminars have included training on how to fit custom orthotics and learning new techniques on how to treat the jaw. In 2011 I spoke at the Pelvic Partnerships Annual conference my subject was ‘The Chiropractic treatment of Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP)’.

I look forward to meeting you and treating your condition. If you would like any further information on any aspect of chiropractic treatment of Total Chiropractic at the Wellbeing Centre please contact me on 07462 522210 or via The Wellbeing Centre on 01635 552874.”
