Nicola is a Humanistic Counsellor with a Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling based on TA, and is a registered member with BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
“I am a ‘Humanistic’ Counsellor. In our sessions we will explore your issues and help you to understand why you think, feel and behave the way you do. This self-awareness is the foundation for bringing about the growth and change you want in your life.
In my sessions you will feel completely safe and secure and be able to discuss anything you like with great empathy and without judgement.
I decided to train as a counsellor after my own experience with counselling, which helped me through a difficult time in my life. I was struck by how positive and empowering my experience of counselling was, to share my problems with someone who wasn’t a friend or family member, and therefore not emotionally attached, someone I didn’t feel would judge me and someone I didn’t feel I was burdening, was very positive and effective.
My main area of expertise is general counselling, addictions, loss and bereavement, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety and abuse.
I provide short term therapy (usually 6-12 sessions) and long-term therapy.”
Each session lasts 50 minutes and costs £50
