Lisa Harper-Gough is a Psychotherapist, currently in advanced training in Transactional Analysis at Metanoia Institute, London, and a registered member of BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy). She is hosting The Group for Carers at The Wellbeing Centre Wednesdays 10am – 12pm.
“I am professionally trained as a nurse, with 16 years experience in helping the person(s) to work through and manage their difficulties.
Sometimes it can be beneficial to sit down with someone who will really listen in a quiet, private, safe and confidential space. I offer to work through difficult and troubling issues, working on areas of your life you feel need to change.
I offer personal interaction, orientated towards various ways of relating with a view of becoming aware of what is going on underneath the surface and understanding ways to gain control over experiences in life.
My knowledge and skills are in line with Transactional Analysis Model, Attachment concepts and body (somatic) sensations. My main areas of interest are:
- Bereavement & Loss
- Mental Health
I offer short and long-term therapy.”
