Tea of the week: Elderberry and Echinacea

tea of the week - elderberry & echinacea

This week’s “Tea of the Week” is the comforting “Elderberry and Echinacea” herbal infusion from pukka teas.

This is the perfect winter tea! This tasty, fruity tea will help you chase away the cold and a cold. With elderberry, elderflower, echinacea, ginger, liquorice, orange and other delicious herbs it leaves you feeling warmed inside and out.

This lovely, soothing tea is an amazing infection fighter. Echinacea is a fabulous immune stimulator so having a few bags of this a day when you feel a cold coming on will really give you’re system a boost to fight off that infection. Elderberry is a great anti-viral and Elderflower is antibiotic so it doesn’t matter whether you have a viral or bacterial infection – this tea will fight them all.

It also helps nourish the adrenals & nervous system, soothes irritation, helps with inflammation, digestion, breathing, circulation & warms the body. It also has an antioxidant and anti-aging effect as it helps to protect our cells and strengthens collagen. This tea is packed full of Vitamin C as well so it’s perfect for this time of year whether you have a cold or not. If you do feel a cold coming on though just 6 cups of this a day should stop it in it’s tracks. (I’ve tried and tested this successfully!)

Elderberry and Echinacea tea really is the cup that warms you up making it this week’s star tea. Why not pop in and try your free cup this week? Don’t have time to stop? Then you can take a bag away with you to try later.

A pack of Elderberry and Echinacea (20 bags) is only £2.60 and is available at anytime here at The Wellbeing Centre.
