About Community Acupuncture at The Wellbeing Centre:

Myself and my colleagues Eileen Bose and Justine West offer low cost acupuncture on Mondays, there are two time blocks to choose from, 12:00 to 4:00 pm with myself and Justine or an evening block from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with Eileen.

Low cost acupuncture or also known as community acupuncture has become a very popular movement in the United Kingdom and abroad. This is a wonderful way to experience affordable acupuncture. Our multi bed is set in a relaxing room with 3 couches separated by screens.

Patients are treated in timed intervals in the same room. Patients are asked to fill out a health questionnaire prior to the first consult/ treatment. At your first treatment we discuss your health issues and reasons for seeking acupuncture treatment.

Tips about attending the multi bed:

Wear loose clothing if possible which allows access to lower leg and arms

Although you have a designated treatment slot, sometimes due to the nature of a multi bed you might have wait a few extra minutes, but we have a lovely sitting area with water & tea

Mobile phones need to be on silent in the treatment room

Although we understand last minute cancellations, it is advised and appreciated to provide 24 hours notice if you are going to cancel. Often there are patients waiting for spaces.

I offer scheduled 30 minute interval slots in the afternoon block, the multi bed tends to be booked up a week in advance so reserving a space is required. If you want to learn more about what acupuncture treats I provide research links from the British Acupuncture council on my website

Acupuncture (Multibed clinic Mon 4-8pm):

  • Initial Consultation – £35 (1hour)
  • Follow-up sessions – £20 – £35 (sliding scale) (40 mins)
  • Multi-bed acupuncture is a relatively new movement that aims to make acupuncture accessible to more people. By offering treatments for only £15 for a 40 minute session, this enables people who could otherwise not afford regular acupuncture to experience what it can offer. It is also ideal for people who would benefit from weekly treatments.
