Every human being has the capacity to be mindful. The Calm Quiet Space Mindfulness course I teach will help you develop skills to obtain emotional balance and well-being.
We will learn to settle the chattering mind and connect more with how we are feeling, rather than thinking, and bring about change from the inside.
Up until 1988 I worked as a nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital. After then, I devoted my time to being a mum to my five children. During my years of nursing I enjoyed making a difference to other people. I hope that during my parenting years, I have made a positive difference to my children.
Through my own Mindfulness practice I decided to train as a mindfulness teacher in hopes of making a real difference to other people’s lives through my courses.
I completed my mindfulness teacher training in 2016 under the guidance of the Suryacitta Malcolm Smith at Mindfulness CIC.
Suryacitta is the author of three books and has dedicated his life to the practices of Mindfulness and Compassion meditation since 1989. He is one of the most experienced teachers in the UK and leads events around the world.
My training will always be ongoing and I regularly attend courses in Leicester.
The Calm Quiet Space Mindfulness Course
The Calm Quiet Space Mindfulness course is designed for those who wish to learn the practice of mindfulness. It is a natural and organic process and anyone with willingness and an open mind can learn. We will look at how to practice mindfulness at home and how to incorporate it into our daily lives.
Practicing mindfulness can help reduce the pressures and stress of everyday life. The course will introduce you to the benefits of mindfulness to include physical and emotional well being, how to settle the chattering mind and how to enjoy life more fully by living in the present moment.
