Pregnancy Yoga with Leah
A gentle Hatha yoga class adapted to suit pregnancy, enabling you to practice safely whether you are new to yoga or have an existing yoga practice. This class is a great preparation for birth and motherhood.

GroYoga Pregnancy (Prenatal) Yoga
Each class lasts around 60 minutes where we practice a combination of breathing techniques (pranayama) to help during pregnancy and birth, yoga postures (asana) to maintain strength and stamina and aid common pregnancy complaints and finally a lovely deep relaxation (yoga nidra) involving elements of self-hypnosis in preparation for birth.
There are also opportunities to discuss various aspects of pregnancy and birth and a chance to stay and chat to other expectant mums.
Who are these classes suitable for?
The classes are open to all healthy pregnant women from around 14 weeks of pregnancy regardless of current yoga practice or experience. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or have had any serious problems during pregnancy, please run this past your GP and midwife before starting the class and discuss with your yoga teacher.
Please don’t worry if you have never practiced yoga before as the classes are very gentle and suitable for all levels.

About Leah McGrath
A busy mum of 3 young daughters, Leah McGrath is a Registered (200 hours) Yoga teacher with specific interest and training in Yoga for Women during the Perinatal period and beyond and also for families and children. She offers a gentle Hatha class for Pregnancy, a Postnatal class (you can bring baby!) and Baby Massage at the Wellbeing Centre.
