Anxiety: when our blueprint doesn’t match reality
Anxiety is something that can affect any one of us from the strongest to the weakest. It can come out of the blue or build up gradually.
The reasons why anxiety has come into existence will be unique to that person.
Every day, through all of our senses we are building up a picture inside of life and how it affects us, we set up a belief pattern and also a blueprint of how we believe life “should” be.
If life doesn’t match up to our blueprint it can create feelings of frustration, insecurity, inadequacy which brew up in the background.
People it is more likely to affect:
- People who need to be in control but the very need to be in control makes them more inflexible with life and when life doesn’t match up to what they want or believe should happen then this can create lots of resistance inside.
- Some people are more naturally stubborn than others, when they have created a belief about themselves or life they can become fixed on it and it becomes difficult to shake off.
Often we are unaware that this is all happening, as it is in the background, in our subconscious – our computer programming, we don’t even realise consciously that this is taking place as we get on with everyday life. Then when an extra stress or life event happens it all comes to the surface.
How do we deal with anxiety?
The emotions that we experience through life are filed away – giving colour, sound, vibrancy to all the information that we have picked up through our lives.
We need to be in control of our emotions and not let them take charge.
This can be done, but we need to get rid of the effect of our past experiences on us first to enable us to let go of what has happened before, so that we can move forward with ease to the future.
So if you are suffering from anxiety get in touch and see if I can help you deal with your emotions, change your behaviour and stop that blueprint from being carved in stone to one that can be changed daily to help you deal with whatever life throws at you.
