Eileen Bose is an experienced, degree-qualified Acupuncturist and a member of the British Acupuncture Council. She runs a community, multi-bed acupuncture clinic at The Wellbeing Centre in Newbury and also offers private therapy sessions.
“I know first-hand how acupuncture can help. I was about to give up in despair when five years ago I was successfully treated for a skin condition that conventional medicine seemed unable to heal. I then found myself becoming more and more interested in complementary treatments, Chinese Medicine and acupuncture in particular. Once my eczema had cleared and through regular treatment continued to stay away, I also found acupuncture helped with my sense of general wellbeing.
I qualified with a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, Berkshire. I also hold a degree in Immunology and Physiology from King’s College, London. Over the years I have worked in both the NHS and private industry as a research scientist and more recently in scientific marketing.
As a businesswoman, I understand the demands of corporate life. I use acupuncture and cupping to help business people get a balance in their lives and give them a sense of wellbeing, even through stressful periods of their working lives.
I provide an holistic and integrated form of acupuncture, combining Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a Five Element style of constitutional treatment, I not only consider the symptoms of your ailment but also the underlying cause. Your treatment protocol will be individually tailored to address your unique condition. “
