By joining Newbury Support Group at the Wellbeing Centre you can spend time with people who share and understand your experiences. It is an opportunity for you to make friends and talk about your deepest concerns and know that they will be met with acceptance and understanding.
We will also be sharing practical solutions for dealing effectively with depression and anxiety, in a gentle and positive way.
Having a support group can give you an opportunity to talk to people who understand what you are going through. For some it may take a few visits to open up, and for others it may be on their first that they feel comfortable enough to talk to others.
This simple act of sharing can make an enormous difference to the way you feel.
Newbury Support Group for Pre- and Postnatal Depression & Anxiety meets every Monday 11:30 – 13:00 at The Wellbeing Centre, starting Monday 21st of March and is facilitated by Kamila Kaminska. The group is for new mums and mums-to-be. If you would like to, you can bring your baby with you (18-months old or younger). A donation of £2 per visit towards running costs is kindly requested.
