Connect to the Earth and Heal!

‘Beneath your feet outdoors is not just a mere patch of grass, dirt, sand, or concrete. It is an onmipresent source of natural healing energy’ – Clinton Ober

Did you know we are electrical beings on an electrical planet? Did you know that the ground beneath us is more than something we just stand, walk, play and build on?  I have always been very connected to the Earth and in the summer months my shoes and socks are off at any given chance. In the spring/summer I sleep better, feel more energised, and have a strong, pain-free body. I always put this down to the increase in sun and the chance to get outdoors more. However, since reading the book ‘Earthing – The most important health discovery ever?’ by Clinton Ober, Stephen T. Sinatra, M.D., and Martin Zucker, I  now put a lot of these improvements down to being more connected with the Earth.

In brief, once your barefeet are connected to a damp conductive surface such as grass, sand, dirt, concrete, your body immediately equalises to the same electric energy potential as the Earth. This in turn allows your body to heal.

I found this book so inspiring that I have started a ‘Barefoot in the Park’ group in Newbury, where by we meet up and spend time together outdoors barefoot, here’s the facebook link if you are interested!

If you have any pain, sickness, inflammation etc. it could be that you are ‘electron deficient’ so why not give Earthing a try – you’ve got nothing to lose (except a couple of toes if you get frostbite)!
