Thanks to everyone who came along, supported and enjoyed the Christmas Wellbeing Market last Saturday at The Wellbeing Centre.
Our yoga studio/meeting room was transformed into a Christmas Grotto with the aid of a few sparkly lights, Christmas Songs and some festive decorations on the stalls. Our visitors were treated to a relaxed shopping experience, enjoying mince pies, mulled wine (of the non-alcoholic variety) and energy water after or in-between trying out a selection of mini-treatments from our therapist team.
We also ran a prize draw. Everyone who came along was automatically entered into the raffle. Prizes were donated by the stall holders – Nature’s Corner donated a book on Healthy Eating, Saranna of Lonsdale Flower Company gave a beautiful bouquet, Saleya offered a gift pack of her lovely Hamman-inspired spa products, and Sue gave a voucher for the fabulous french clothing company, Captain Tortue. Also in the raffle was a face-reading session with Ros Kitson and a book detailing wheat & gluten-free recipes by local author, Eva Detko. The lucky winners were drawn at the end of the day (thanks to Amanda and Kathleen for staying behind to help me draw the prizes)!
Mini-treatments available on the day included:
Here are just a few of the fantastic testimonials we received:
Hayley: “The Indian Head Massage was incredibly relaxing and I feel a lot less tense. Henna really put me at ease and I really felt great afterwards. Thank you + will be returning.”
Charlie: “The Indian Head Massage was lovely. Incredibly relaxing, and restful.”
Hannah: “Very good – really felt like Jason knew what he was talking about and treatment was excellent. Lovely facilities – will come back for more!”
Dani: “I loved both the therapies I tried. Kinesiology was fascinating. It’s the first time I tried it and I would like to do a full session now. The massage was wonderful. Henna really took her time to make sure I got some benefit as I came with very stiff neck and shoulders. Will definitely book another session with Henna. Great day and great way of trying out different therapies at low cost. Thanks.”
Ben: “Indian head massage and back, neck and shoulder massage. Very relaxing and calming. Acupressure – unusual to start with but felt the benefits immediately. Altogether brilliant time!”
Jo (yes, our Jo Medhurst): “Jason is a fantastic therapist & really knows his stuff. It’s amazing what he can do in 10 mins! Su’s foot massage was wonderful. Incredibly relaxing & very soothing – my feet feel amazing!”
Debbie: “Jason – had it all – lush experience. Will come again. Lovely treatment with Henna, again will visit again.”
